Happy Chinese New Year, Gong Xi Fa Cai, and Chúc Mūng Nám Mòi :)
Hi and Assalamualaikum !
As you all know, Chinese celebrated Chinese New Year for the past few days. I still hear fireworks at night though. I guess they still have the spirits to celebrate !
Now , I shall share my story with you. During the celebration, my Family and I went to Vietnam. Yes, you're right. We went overseas! Yayy :D It was my first time going outside of Malaysia. So, everyone was excited as I was.
As we arrived there, everything was different from our country ! :o There were so many thin people. I rarely see big-sized people walking around. I am sure that i will soon know why. After we got our baggages with us, we walked outside the airport. You know what ? There were so MANY people waiting outside. Do you know that i am the shy type... i couldn't stand people watching me.. I stayed behind my mother.
We had to stay there as we had to find our tour guide. Suddenly, i saw a paper that wrote "Encik Megat Muzafar B. Mohd Mokhtar" along with the travel agency's name. I immediately called my father and showed him the tour guide. Finally, we were out of that crowded place. Fewh~ =="
We went farther away from the crowded spot as we wait for our transport. During those time, we spent our time getting to know each other with the tour guide. His name was Hoāng Minh Tuàn. His age is a secret, because i never asked him lol. I thought that it was rude to ask. How does he look? He's average in height. He has spiky hair as well. I guess that's it ? Haha.
Lets get going now :p He memorized all of our names although he had a hard time calling us. Haha. My name is Aisyah, but he called me something like Eyshah? Its weird i know. But i don't really mind as he's a Vietnamese :) Moving on...
The city of Vietnam... my my it was Gorgeous! It was unexpectedly clean :o Omo, Nomu Nomu Chuwaheiyo~ (Oh my gosh, I really really like it) Anyways, there were a lot of bikers and less cars. Mr Minh said cars are expensive so, only the rich buy them. Even though there were a lot of bikers, i rarely see any accident. The bikers were disciplined. I respect that ;)
The first day we arrived, we visited the Flower Festival. There were so many decorations! The flowers were made into various shapes. Colourful i must say ! My mother really likes flowers, so we walked slowly towards the end of the festival. On the way, we met Mr Minh's cousins and parents. They were all so cute ! Kawaii >~< One of them was wearing a yukata. A pink yukata ! :p We took pictures with them and we went back to our hotel. That night, we went to a halal restaurant called "Red House" . If you want to go there and eat halal food, go upstairs :)
The second day, we went to Cu Chi Tunnel. We saw weapons, bombs, and traps set by Vietnamese to fight against Americans. They were all so skilled, and the traps were full of strategy. There were a lot of activities to do there. Some of them are shooting with a real gun (the noise was very loud, so we used headphones to cover our ears). We also crawled carefully in the tunnel. I was so scared and I panicked ! For your information, i'm scared of the dark and also tight spaces. So that was two fears combined. Imagine how i felt XS
The third day, we went to Mekong River. It was awesome. Sorry, there were too many experience there. I bet you would be bored if you had to read it all :3 Hey ! I am being considerate here. haha x) All i could say is that it was fun.
The last day, we said our goodbyes to Mr Minh and went on the airplane. It was sad :( I miss Vietnam so very much. I would like to go there once again. Hmmm :/
If Only....
Well, i think i've said enough. See you in the next post :) I am a very busy person. Haha, not true :p Goodbye ;) Assalamualaikum~
